Sales - temp

• CU Boulder Book Store December 2019 - January 2020: As a temporary employee in sales for the CU Boulder Book Store I completed tasks in all areas of the store. Including, cashiering, receiving shipments, inventorying books, assisting customers on the sales floor, and preparing deliveries. I was readily available to customers and to my coworkers to be of help as needed in any area of the book store. It was vital I be knowledgable of all of the book store products, so that I may be helpful to both my coworkers and customers.

Kitchen and Bath Specialist

• IKEA - November 2017 - August 2019: I assist in planning and designing residential kitchens and baths. I handle appointments in which I personally design kitchens for customers, but I also assist customers in the self planning process. I answer phone calls concerning product, scheduling appointments for measurement services and planning services, and taking payments. We stock brochures and promotional material, and greet every customer with a friendly and active approach. As Kitchen Specialists we also handle the booking process from start to finish with each client. My responsibility is to master the IKEA kitchen product line and financing options, so that I am able to fully educate customers on all they’ll need to know and ease anxieties about the remodelling process.

Barista

• Starbucks - October 2017 - July 2018: I worked as a barista. I handled cash, took orders, brewed coffee, and made drinks. I always worked one on one with the customers with the goal of creating connections and friendships to promote a welcoming and inviting environment.
